"Every Day's a Learning Day" at Gorse Hill Infants and Children's Centre

In the September following their fifth birthday children transfer from the Foundation Stage classes to the Key Stage 1 (KS1) classes.  At Gorse Hill we have four KS1 classes.  2 classes in Year 1 - Leopards and Parrots and two classes in Year 2 - Pandas and Gorrillas.  Each class has a teacher and a teaching assistant.  The teaching assistants (TAs) work in the class during the morning and work with small groups during the afternoons.  We also have our intervention teacher Mrs Weston who works with small groups. She also covers teachers for their non-contact some afternoons.
